Go West!
The West Country is a beautiful balance of preservation and regeneration. From the mysteries of 3000BC (how DID they lift that top piece onto Stonehenge?) to some of today's most radical urban development projects, it's a bit of a mishmash of world heritage and post modern.
What's unique is that it's all so accessible, so easily and so quickly. Just 15 minutes gets you from Aquae Sulis in Bath to the eye catching Temple Quarter development in Bristol city centre (that's over 2000 years in under quarter of an hour).
We have genuine country cottages, in villages where milk is still delivered in bottles and herds of cows hold you up on the way to work. Then we have 21st century cities offering the ultimate in contemporary living, harbourside apartments with balconies and great views, all sitting amongst acres of green open space.
All in all, the West life is a pretty good one, so it's no surprise we need all these regeneration projects to create space for the businesses and people arriving every day.
