From A to Beyond
One of the favoured forms of transport in the West is the foot, simply because there's so much in stumbling distance, and nice things to look at on the way.
That said, many people have no idea just how good the transport network is here. We're actually pretty well connected, and here's just a taster:
- From Bristol to a central London meeting in less than an hour and a half
- Fly to Newquay (surfing) from Bristol for under £20
- Go Christmas shopping in New York directly from Bristol
- Get to Prague quicker than you can get to Essex
- Travel from your desk to a pint of Guinness in Dublin in less than 2 hours
What's more, the average travel to work time in the West is 21 minutes, which is lower than the nationwide average of 25, and compares to 56 minutes for central London.
Just think what else you could do in those 35 minutes...
