Bristol provides fertile new ground for design start ups

Spike Design is an exciting new creative space by near the waterside in Bristol, dedicated to growing the design businesses of the future. Much more than a desk, Spike Design will provide the space, connection and experience to create the best possible environment for business success. Just what we need!

Developed and managed by Spike Island (undergoing a total refurb at present)with investment from South West RDA (for once a good use of your corporation and income tax), Spike Design is the largest space of its kind in the South West with over 6,000 square feet of open plan studio space designed specifically for start-up design businesses. Spike Island has a high profile locally, nationally and far beyond and we are delighted, that as a result of our capital development, we are able to offer this new initiative that has the potential to become a vital new design community for the South West.

Spike Design already has the support of key design related networks and established design businesses within the region, all of whom are committed to supporting this initiative through mentoring and specialist business advice.
